Joint Town Board/Plan Commission Meeting Agenda
Tuesday, April 20, 2010 beginning at 7:00 p.m. - Gull Lake Town Hall
Town Board present: Katherine Berndt, Tom Thorp, Tom Parker, Lolita Olson-clerk
Plan Commission present: Mary Peters, Kathy Fredricks, William Haddick, Avis Rosenlund, Katherine Berndt
1. The meeting was called to order by Plan Commission Chair, Mary Peters at 7:20 p.m.
2. The minutes from the March 9, 2010 Plan Commission Meeting were approved with a motion by K Berndt; second by William Haddick. Ayes carried.
3. Review of the Land Division Ordinance (draft with notations)
a. discuss any information from area municipalities already utilizing a land division ordinance—mentioned that the Town of Spider Lake subdivision ordinance refers to Chapter 236 WI Statutes vs outlining everything that a CSM should contain. There was no other information from other municipalities presented.
b. review of copy of Land Division Ordinance with notations—proceed with notations in red on the LDO. Note: Standards for private roads have been adopted by the town. K Berndt to forward copy to clerk for permanent records.
Note LDO responsibility, page 18, Article V, 5.1 Administration and Enforcement—Plan Commission and Town Board have the responsibility
4. Public Comment—none
5. Much discussion on certified survey maps requirement for all land divisions. No decisions made.
6. Set next meeting date and tentative agenda—board to contact Plan Commission chair to set up any future meetings
7. Adjourn—Motion made by Avis Rosenlund to adjourn at 8:55 p.m., second by K Fredricks. Ayes carried.
